“If the basis of Christianity were anything else than a God Who came from a tomb, then we would be without hope. If He were a worldly success, then we would have to imitate Him in worldliness. If He were a failure, and never rose from defeat, then we would be vindictive, and hate who symbolized the world that crucified Him. If He were only a man, He would be forgotten as all men are. If He wrote a book, we would all have to be professors, but since he came into this world to bring victory out of defeat, then the more hopeless the situation, the more certainly does the Divine Power operate.
