"When we love some one, we are happy to possess his or her picture.  It is the same if we love the Blessed Virgin, my 

dear friends.  We consider it an honor and a duty to have her picture in our house, to remind us frequently of this good Mother.  Furthermore, those parents who are truly Christians should never omit to inspire their children with a tender devotion to the Blessed Virgin.  This is the best means to call down the blessings of heaven, and the protection of Mary upon your families."    St. John Vianney
